She's Ready

Obviously, I’m way overdue for a blog post…it’s been a minute. Balancing motherhood and work is no joke! Since the school year has ended, I have a moment to breathe and dive into some things that I’ve wanted to do for a while, but feared for various reasons. I recently just decided to “do it afraid,” as the saying goes because if I don’t try, I could end up living in a perpetual state of regret and y’all…I know it’s in me so, that’s not an option! It’s time to bet on myself and step out on faith.

With that being said, I’ll share with you guys what it is. I have been braiding hair since I was in middle school for extra change all the way into adulthood. I have mostly done box braids and some natural dos for those closest to me. I haven’t had the time recently to do anything that takes longer than a couple of hours so when I saw the opportunity to take a class from two of the most skilled braiders I’ve seen, I had to jump on it in hopes of expanding my skill set.  I took a class two weekends ago on braiding and loc techniques put on by Rare Essence Academy out of Arizona and I am beyond inspired! So much so, that I’ve even enrolled in their online courses. I learned so much from these two ladies…

Now, I need to put what I’ve learned to practice. Any takers...? Lol

In all seriousness though, I am offering natural hair services (braids, twists, locs) at introductory rates for letting me practice! Make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates and photos. I look forward to perfecting my craft and doing something I’ve always loved!

Simply sharing,

Shae
